This group is so cool. ;u; I decided to go for a younger character because a.) doesn’t seem like many youngins here, and b.) I just really adore making younger characters. >w< Might be making it harder for myself to get others to interact with her, but here goes!

Name: Yucie (YOU-shee)

Appears: 12-13
Actual Age: 12

Personality:
Highly adventurous, Yucie is energetic and loves to explore. Anything that piques her interest will result in her full focus being directed to it. She is a little gullible and her decisions can easily be swayed by the people she familiarizes herself with. More often than not, she sticks her head in situations that can be quite dangerous, but that’s something she doesn’t try to do on purpose. Yucie is fascinated by stories of adventure and prides herself in believing one day she’ll be a world famous explorer.

Yucie can hardly be called shy. She’s outgoing and loves interacting with people, which can get her branded as a little unwanted pest. Being thought of in that does hurt her, but she puts on her brave face and tries not to show it. It is a fear of hers that the people she admires and cares about wouldn’t want her around.

She loves to have fun and laugh, but if a situation becomes grim she knows to calm down and become serious, even if she doesn’t understand why. Most of the time, however, Yucie tries to lighten the atmosphere because she wants everyone to be cheerful.

Hobbies:
Exploring – whether by sea or by land, she wants to discover every nook and cranny she can find
Collecting – mostly sea glass and coins. Sometimes marbles. Those shiny little things are too hard to resist. Maps are another thing she likes, as well as compasses and spyglasses. Doesn’t matter if they’re old or broken and out of use. She wants them all.

View on Humans:
They’re weird. Why don’t the have tails? Maybe they’re not cool enough. Yucie finds it strange how their skin gets all pruney and wrinkled when they’re in the water for too long.

History:
Nothing eventful has really occurred during her short life, or at least nothing eventful she can remember. She swears at one point she had a family and sisters and brothers, but she’s been separated from them for so long she forgot. Occasionally she selectively remembers certain memories, though it doesn’t happen a lot. Yucie makes her home in a grotto by a colorful and vibrant coral reef, and sleeps in a canoe that had sunk.

Bad Habits, or Specific Traits:
-likes to touch things to figure out what they are
-then likes to bite them and test them out with her teeth
-tends to nap in tide pools
-often munches on coral
-nicknames humans ‘’prunes,” or “prunies”
-greets others with an “Ahoy there!”

Legend: They came from the Blue Beyond. Don’t ask her if she means the ocean or the sky, because she’s not really sure herself.
